"As a Chinese-American who doesn't primarily speak Chinese at home, it was very important for me to give my children the best opportunity to learn Chinese at a young age. The Transfiguration Chinese School has been a wonderful place for all three of them to learn. They are taught to read, write and speak traditional Chinese characters as well as pinyin. In addition to the rudiments of the Chinese language, I like that they are also getting exposure to elements of Chinese culture and literature from native Chinese speakers. The Transfiguration Chinese School has been a great place for them to be exposed to Chinese on a weekly basis and I'm sure that the children will greatly appreciate the lessons one day." -- Sherry Hsiung
